BOHUMÍR PROKŮPEK - “PODYJÍ”

An exhibition of photographs representing one of the key periods in the work of leading Czech photographer and FAMU tutor, local wildlife and landscape devotee and expert, who recently died. Site – buildings of the former entry historical exhibition at the first courtyard (opposite to the cash desk) where the seasonal Information Point of the Podyjí National Park Administration will be established. Organised by Podyjí National Park Administration, and coorganised by the Vranov nad Dyjí State Chateau. The exhibition is open to the public from May 22, 2009, till August 31, 2009, daily except Mondays and also in September and at weekends. Opening hours in July and August from 10AM till 6PM, in May, June and September from 10AM till 5PM.

“VRANOV LILY 2009”

Ninth year of floral exhibition in installed interiors of Vranov nad Dyjí chateau with festive flo-ral arrangements in historical style, dominated by lilies. Organisers – National Heritage Institute - Vranov nad Dyjí State Chateau Administration and Brno Floral Gallery. Open from June 12 till 17, 2009. It can be visited daily from 9AM and 4PM except Mondays as part of common chateau tour, or separately from 4.20 to 5PM.

“VRANOV STONEWARE”

The eleventh year of the grand seasonal exhibition situated in the former chateau carriage shed in front of the main entrance gate brings closer the beauty of the pottery produce of the local fac-tory of European importance working between 1799 and 1882, which ranked among the most significant Habsburg monarchy plants with its technological mastery and aesthetical level of production. The location – former carriage shed in front of the main entrance gate to the chateau. Organised by National Heritage Institute in Brno - Vranov nad Dyjí State Chateau Administra-tion and South Moravian Museum in Znojmo. Open from June 12 till September 30, 2009, in June daily from 9.30 AM till 4 PM except Mondays, in July and August daily from 9.30 AM till 5PM except Mondays, and in September from 9.30 AM till 4 PM at weekends.
