SEPTEMBER 20 - 21 - DAYS OF THE EUROPEAN CULTURAL HERITAGE

In these days our chateau will traditionally participate in the event that aims to seek ways of getting to know our civilisation, both European and global. This year’s national topic “Monuments in the Landscape and Landscape as Monument” inspired us to prepare an accompanying programme, offering, besides the usual visit to the chateau interiors, the exhibition titled “The Landscape of Podyjí in 19th and 20th Century Paintings” (for more see Exhibitions 2008). Also the chateau chapel will open on the exceptional occasion, presenting the original baroque furniture and decorations. Apart from that, the chateau administration office prepares a lecture on the “Vranov chateau park – nature and monuments”, which will take place on Saturday September 20, beginning at 4:00 PM at the chateau ticket office. The number of visitors is limited, and therefore we would like you to book your place in advance – by phone, post, or e-mail.
