AUGUST 26 - JEWISH SONGS AND DANCES

On Tuesday August 26 the Hall of Ancestors saw a performance of the Balet Praha Junior, an artistic ensemble of Prague Dance Centre, presenting an excellent ballet show with jazz melodies, inspired by the Jewish songs, and music of George Bizet and Edward Grieg. The young artists and their friends – soloists of the Hungarian ballet of the Gödöllö theatre – totally thrilled the audience. The successful event was the last of the 26th year of the Summer of Culture in Vranov, which was co-organised by the chateau administration and the local authority of Vranov nad Dyjí. The twenty-nine concerts of chamber and folk music, ballet and theatre performances were visited by two thousand people.
