LAST PROGRAMME OF THE CULTURE SUMMER

This 27th Vranov Culture Year ended on Thursday August 20 by a very successful recital of classical Indian musical “qawwali” and “bhadyani” performed by a Ukrainian group called Sangam. The subcontinent’s ritual dances and meditative Sahadja yoga that the young people concentrate on and promote on their concert tour in Europe complemented the almost two-hours long programme. Listeners as well as other château visitors could see an exhibition of clothes, musical instruments and other Indian material culture exhibits prior to the concert.
