Rental of spaces
at the State chateau Vranov nad Dyjí

Some of the spaces at the chateau may be rented to organise wedding feasts, company presentations, various professional seminars, political meetings, social and catering events, cultural performances, etc. Sometimes the interiors are used as an interesting backdrop in movies. All the cultural and social activities take place in the chateau interiors and exteriors that are characterised by great cultural and historical value. This is why the chateau office pays great attention to make sure the events are not in conflict with the principles of heritage protection and with good manners.

The following areas are available for rental:

• Entrance Hall of approximately 113 m2
• Hall of Ancestors of approximately 380 m2, an attractive space taking up to 400 and more people if used as a concert hall, and at least 200 people if banquets on long tables are held; if classical table arrangement is used the space accommodates up to 100 – 150 people
• The southern terrace with the Arch of Victory of approximately 206 m2 and connected to the Hall of Ancestors; the space offers attractive view of the remains of the medieval castle and the picturesque landscape of the Podyjí National Park
• The northern terrace with the Arch of Victory and view of the Vranov valley, a space of some 460 m2 connected to the Hall of Ancestors; suitable mainly for garden parties
• The Great Dining Hall of approximately 85 m2 and the Parlour of some 86 m2 - historic interiors linked to the entrance hall, suitable e.g. for balls
• Court of Honour with fountain and baroque staircase of approximately 1250 m2 providing a suitable space mainly for theatre and musical performances.

The entrance hall does not have perfect acoustics. Both halls are without heating and must be lit. The interiors, if rented, will be free of the historic furniture, paintings, and other heritage property. In case of more complicated events the chateau may be closed to the public. Parking is available at a smaller area in front of the entrance and also the large municipal car park below the chateau.

The chateau office only rents the listed premises, and does not organise the logistics and other aspects of the events. In case of interest they may, however, provide contacts to regional subjects providing catering, cultural events, fireworks, and other services and attractions. Personal meeting is necessary, as well as the conclusion of a contract guaranteeing the interests of both parties.

The price of the rentals depends on the season, number and size of the rented areas, as well as duration and purpose of the event. Price includes also costs of consumed energies. In case of short and one-off rentals the prices range between CZK 85,000 and 200,000.
