WORLD OF CHILDREN AND FLOWERS

Around 180 invited guests came to the opening of the great seasonal exhibition, which is entitled “The World of Children in Aristocratic Homes”, and presents exhibits borrowed from seventeen different castles and chateaux, six museums, one gallery, one national archive, one foundation, and eight private collectors. At the same time, the eighth year of the flower show “Vranov Lillies” was opened. After the authors’ speeches and presentation of the idea, meaning, and importance of both exhibitions, the guests enjoyed a short concert of the Nostalgia Quartet from Brno, and viewed the exhibited items. The successful event held on a beautiful day ended with a banquet in the Hall of Ancestors, and an informal discussion among the participants on the southern chateau terrace.
